This vault is organized from most lore-focused to most mundane because I'm assuming people coming here are mostly interested in lore and are familiar with basic game mechanics and don't care too much about stuff like...bottles of sand and their usage.
0_i.: Front Matter: Information about Book of Hours, Eldra Echo, and this Obsidian Vault
0_ii: Stream Integrations: Information about how my stream works, because I have a lot of weird integrations you probably haven't seen before.
0_iii: Widgets: Right now, this just contains the Tree of Wisdom skill layout planner tool.
**1. Lore**: Background and foreground lore about the world of the Secret Histories games, e.g. the Hours, the various Histories, historical time periods as defined within the game, the endings one can achieve in Book of Hours which do have lore implications.
**2. Places:** This section includes information on both physical places (e.g. Hush House. Brancrug) as well as metaphysical places like the Mansus and the House of the Moon.
**3. Affairs and Incidents:** Where much of the important plot develops in Book of Hours. Affairs and Incidents are various stories that happen in Book of Hours that the Librarian can affect through their conversations with various visitors.
**4. People:** People drive the plot, which uncovers more lore. This section includes information about characters encountered in Book of Hours as well as characters mentioned in Book of Hours, e.g. people mentioned in books, authors of books, etc.
**5. Readables:** Readables contain lore, they get their own section. They're technically a type of item, but given their lore-density, and how many of them there are in the game, they get their own section. Readables includes codices, phonograph records, tablets, etc. anything that has a Mystery element that is readable in exchange for Lessons and Memories.
**6. Mechanics:** Mechanics includes ![[skill.png|25]] <font color="A38851">Skills</font>, Principles, Wisdoms, ![[memory.png|25]] <font color="A38851">Memories</font>, elements of the Soul, which have lore implications but most people reading the wiki will likely already be familiar with them. This is where we start to get into more 'game tutorial' type content.
**7. Workstations and Verbs:** Workstations are really a subset of places, but this is more game tutorial type content.
**8. Other Items:** Non-readable items, like...ambergris, or eggs, or milk. A lot of items offer lore-important flavor text, but as physical objects, are not necessarily super important.
**Boring Stuff Alert**
y_Video Diary and transcripts: Information about streams so I can easily find stream VODs I need to make clips for other videos.
z_Appendices: This contains information needed to make the Obsidian vault work correctly, like my inline triggers and a test file so I can ensure I assigned the right images to the right inline triggers. This is boring administrative content that has to be on the website for it to function correctly.
I organized it in a way that made sense to me, because I think that's the value of a public Obsidian vault: seeing how someone else organizes their information.
